David Urbanke is a New York based photographer with his studio in Brooklyn.
Self-taught and driven by a love for visual storytelling, his work focuses on capturing people as they really are. His photographs explore individuality and vulnerability, always searching for authentic moments. Whether it's a quiet portrait or a scene filled with movement and light, he's drawn to the honest details that make each person unique. His goal is simple: make people feel comfortable enough to be themselves in front of the camera.
David works on editorial shoots, commercial projects, and personal work. His images have appeared in publications across the globe, and he's collaborated with a range of clients who value his straightforward, human-centered approach.
He photographs everyone from well-known public figures to people who've never been professionally photographed before. What he loves most is finding the same authenticity in both - there's something real and worth capturing in everyone.
When he's not on assignment, David works on personal projects that let him explore what interests him most: connection, identity, and the small moments that reveal something larger. These projects keep him creatively energized and remind him why he picked up a camera in the first place.
David additionally regularly frequents Los Angeles and is available for travel worldwide.
